We’d been out for almost 12 hours on Friday (Day 6 of CNY) ! Went to lots of places in Kuching though. I’ve not even been to some of those places after living for a freaking 16 years in Kuching! what a shame huh.. we went to 6 places, I guess. We went to the place where people manufactures clay pots and stuffs (I’m not pretty sure what’s that place called..It’s somewhere in 12th mile) . Then, we went to Semenggoh to look for watch the Orang Utans.
I guess we were just in time when we reached there. The person-in-charge was giving some brief explanation or some to-dos or not to-dos there.
there here it is, the guy talking talking.
Well, I wasn’t really paying full attention at that time. ‘Cause I find that he was sort of talking craps. He mentioned about some which I think was kinda stupid, you see. It went like this :
“ Don’t make your baby cry in front of the Orang Utan. I don’t know why-lah, the Orang Utan don’t like baby crying. ==ll When the Orang Utan appear in front of you, don’t be stupid and stand right there. Turn around and go another way! (WTH??) and Jangan point at the Orang Utan. They don’t like people pointing at them it not they will ATTACK you! Sebab nya tu wildlife and we can’t control them, so be careful == ”
weird..how can you stop a baby from crying?? and some more who would bring a BABY to such places to tengok Orang Utan?? and that guy made those Orang Utans sounded like so violent.. kia-si-lang. Forget ‘bout that, then we headed to the feeding trail.
It was like jungle trekking in there, just that it was a short one.
Luck wasn’t on our side that day, NO Orang Utans came out, and people were just standing there like SAKAIs. Too bad the weather did not compromise. We were like standing under the rain holding our umbrella, waiting for the Orang Utans to attack appear. My cuzs and I were kinda impatient and since the Orang Utans wont be coming out anyway, we headed back to assembly site. There’s no point waiting for them to come out since they were already hiding for shelter right.. =)
see anything? only trees ..but no Orang Utans..
Happy Jungle People Peep at you with a SMILE :) (weird???)
After this, We headed straight to Damai and Cultural Village, then to Damai Puri again =) I love Damai Puri!! Peeps, I’m gonna leave that till the next post! =) Enough for tonight. I’m already tired of typing.. tap tap tap =)
Good Night! and Ciao~
