Calligraphy

I was practising my calligraphy just now. Ha ha. I have a strong sense of Deja Vu when I first hold the chinese paint brush though. I’ve not been touching that paint brush for like 2 years I guess. The time I last hold that brush was during my Chinese Exam when sitting for PMR. Well, I’ve not been practising writing calligraphy these days and now asking me to write it and go for competition out of a sudden. And the competition is TOMORROW! Ha Ha. GG. Tell you what, I spent almost half an hour to look for my calligraphy sets and stuffs (old stuffs). I can’t even remember where the hell did I keep them. Hmm.. holding the brush for the first time after the long break really gives me a weird feeling though. Its like meeting up an old friend which you’ve not seen for years, and the kind of awkward feeling, sort of strange. I took quite some time to get used to hold the brush, I can’t even hold it properly, what more to write using the brush. Luckily, I still have that little basic with me. At least can come out with some chinese characters. But, I got to admit, my standard drops a lot. Can’t blame much. Ha ha . My calligraphy sucks much. If its not for the competition tomorrow, I won’t even touch the brush or spend baldly 30 minutes looking for the stuff. My hands are a bit shaky though when writing calligraphy, its kinda normal. (Not Parkinson’s syndrome kay) Ha ha Hopefully I won’t get that shaky tomorrow. :)

My work. Its not that hideous. But to go for competition with this standard really hopeless. UNLESS, all the pros are not going, but the probability is like 1 out of 10.

Try compare those two pages. The one on the left was written 2 years ago. The right one was written just now. Which is better? Lolz

I’m gonna use only these two for tomorrow. :) Please don’t fail me, dear paint brush. I love this paint brush, it’s my favourite of all.

 

Well, I’ve done enough of practices just now. Hopefully, things will turn out fine tomorrow. Frankly speaking, I don’t think I have any chances of winning. But I’ll try my best. Wish me luck eh. :)
