Competition

I have just got back from SMK Batu Kawa for the calligraphy competition. I’m so sleepy now. I got up quite early this morning around 645 I think. I’m gonna catch some sleep after this. The competition this morning was quite okay. Well, I got a place in the competition. :) Good news? Yea, maybe. It’s quite surprising though. I’ve never thought of winning this competition. Well yea, unexpected. Something quite annoying happened. I was the first winner being called up. The emcee pronounced my name wrongly. == At first I wasn’t really sure that whether she was calling my name or not. So instead teacher asked me to go to the emcee and confirm. Yea, it is my name as written. I did correct her, but she still pronounced wrongly the second time. == so noob. uh-huh, well what if it wasn’t my name on the winner list, omg that’ll be so embarrassing!! Can you imagine that? Everyone’s watching you walking up to the stage and until you reckon it’s not you being called, but some other else. Then you’ll have to walk down the stage alone with dozens of them having their eyes on you. I’ll be so shame-faced! But luckily that didn’t happen. Ha ha.

Of course, I did walk around the school while I was there. We went there too early. The school’s quite okay. I prefer my own school more. :) Its quite old but okay la, not that bad. But speaking about the girls toilet.. X_X. It can’t be compared to St.Joe’s girls toilet and our schools one. Its like the school never put any effort to renovate the toilet and the cleaners never do their duty as well. == You can see all sorts of colourful wordings on the toilet wall. Vandalise much. :/ Other than this, the rest are quite okay I guess. The canteen there is nothing compare to our school’s one. One thing that you can’t find in our school’s canteen is that the canteen at SMK Batu Kawa sells JUNK FOOD! Although not many variety, but at least they sell some junk food. Tell cha, the junk food they sell is so expensive!! == They charge you 70 cents on the small packet of keropok, where the normal price for that packet out there is only 50 cents the most!  They sure know how to make a profit from the kids. ><

Here are some pics I took this morning. :)

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that LITTLE EXTRA. I like this

250420102904 250420102907 250420102905This guy is one of the judges for this competition. He writes nice calligraphy. He wrote on the spot and sell his works there. RM 200 per work. X_X RM 200! See the price tag up there? That’s the proof, I’m not exaggerating.

Hmm, let’s see which school I have been to..

  1. SMK Batu Kawa (just this morning)
  2. SMK St.Joseph (a month ago, I wish to visit that school again by chance)
  3. SMK Green Road
  4. SMK Kuching HIgh
  5. SMK Bau (Last year during the English Drama Competition)
  6. Lodge (Primary)

That’s it? hmm.. Quite a few. Should have visited more schools. Wells, if I have the chance to. :)

Yours Truly
